Editorial Illustration

This illustration was for an article from The Economist titled Andy Warhol and the ayatollahs. The article discusses the population of Warhol pieces in Iran. I chose to juxtapose Marilyn Monroe, rendered in the style of a Warhol print, and a Persian woman living through the strictness of the religious police.
